Ask who will perform the treatment

Ask the clinic which physician supervises or performs the procedure. You may ask for the physician's full name and PRC licence number and check it with the Professional Regulation Commission.

Dermatologist vs. other physicians

The Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) maintains a directory of its specialist members. Other licensed physicians may also offer aesthetic treatments. Our classifications show what we could document; they are not a ranking of care quality.

Ask about devices

If a clinic advertises a branded device, you can ask which exact model it uses, whether it was bought through an authorised distributor, and when it was last serviced.

Understand the risks

• Ask about expected results, downtime and possible side effects.
• Request written aftercare instructions.
• Be cautious of prices far below the market — and of pressure to decide immediately.
